A business executive in the private aviation industry, Edgar Alacan serves as managing director of Jets.com, which he co-founded in 2008. Beyond his day to day professional activities, Edgar Alacan maintains membership in several industry organizations, including the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA).
Throughout the year, NBAA hosts a variety of seminars, conferences, and regional forums for members of the business aviation community. The organization's most popular event is the NBAA Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (NBAA-BACE), which is among the 10 largest trade shows in the country.
In 2019, more than 23,000 attendees are expected to take part in NBAA-BACE at the Las Vegas Convention Center and Henderson Executive Airport in Nevada. The three-day event, taking place October 22-24, will feature the latest aviation products and services from more than 1,000 exhibiting companies. In addition to indoor exhibits, attendees will have the opportunity to view nearly 100 aircraft on display at Henderson Executive Airport.
Additional highlights of NBAA-BACE 2019 will include networking activities and educational programming for aircraft owners and manufacturers, flight personnel, service providers, and students interested in pursuing aviation careers.
